I am confident that it is every bit as reliable a an unmodified OEM shoe.

I emailed Johnny and asked a few questions about the maximun pounds of pull I would like to feel on my combination of a Timmney trigger bar and Johnny's Vex trigger shoe in my glock. He quoted the standard connector to achieve an 3.5lb trigger pull weight.

I have installed the Johnny Glock trigger shoe with reduced travel in my Glock 43x. I already had a glocktriggers.com reduced travel trigger in there, but the oem shoe was killing my finger. Johnny's smooth shoe with a slightly different apporach to RT (actually better because it was adjustable) worked out great!!! Great guy to deal with.
