Well-known Member. Dec 20, 2011. #1. Chris - AFIK a governor from an M, Super M, 400, W6, Super W6, W400, etc. will all interchange with a 450 governor. You may need to adjust the high speed stop screw and/or possibly swap the governor spring to get the correct high idle speed. But otherwise any of the above should work.
