They just help you fill your categories faster up to the max amount of 8k per category. BBQ increases BP gained on top. So with these 3 perks you get max 32k points, but BBQ gives you up to 64k, if you manage to fill all categories.
Idea: let the killer pick up a hex perk and hold it on them if they have thrill of the hunt, then place it on a dull totem. While they have it it can’t gain tokens and it doesn’t apply it’s affect. Possibly can’t work with undying. Yep. Damn near completely fucking useless.
Or you decide to have a build that is setup around devour hope. IE. Devour Hope,Thrill of the Hunt, Whispers.. ( Then what ever you feel is best for you here.
