we would like to play expert mode and vengeance mode in calamity (tmodloader). The world we are on started in normal and I was wondering if there was a way to change the difficulty now. I'd like to keep the world progress and swap to expert mode. TEdit makes it's own backups of worlds edited through TEdit and you can go there to learn more about that. More information can always be found at the official TEdit Wiki here. The wiki is a little outdated, but most tools work as mentioned and only the newest features of TEdit 3 are left out.only thing is you cant edit modded blocks in tedit this way, and a large source of corruption is placing blocks where a modded block is so try and avoid that. if you just want to remove corruption from your world tho just use fargos mod purity renewal. you dont have to worry too much about backups because tmodloader automatically makes world ...

If you can't find it, download TEdit and open your world in there. You can see the whole world and where the shimmer is. As far as i know, its the same side as the jungle, under the ocean, somewhere deep probably in the caverns.
