Each assessment is designed to be highly efficient and inform instruction. The FAST earlyReading assessments are comprised of 14 sub-tests. Of those sub-tests, FastBridge Learning provides recommendations for specific combinations of up to four sub-tests to be given per benchmark period.
FastBridge obtains a Lexile® reading measure for each aReading score. Because the S2i report does not report aReading for K and 1 we do not report the Lexile® in this report for those grades. Lexile® measures are available in the data download for grades K-12. FastBridge also offers another version of this subtest for grade 1 students which includes the first 150 most frequent words from the Zeno et al. (1995) list.
