Ryze himself isn't hard, the game is, and ryze rewards perfect game sense highly, if you sideline and split push properly, peel when you need to, roam with ult, 1shot Squishies when possible, etc. He will be very effective, but solo q isn't about playing the game perfectly, which is why he's better in pro play.i really like to grab phase rush, manaflow, celerity, gathering, then eyeball collection, ingenious hunter. as for items, i usually build fimbul/seraph depending on whether i'm in a tough matchup or not, then everfrost, cosmic and then either some tank items like frozen heart, warmog's, force of nature, thornmail or AP items like shadowflame, rabaddon, morello.

One is obvious since it's on a different line and it is Ravenous Hunter.
