I bought a new battery. Stock was 14ah battery, I installed a 21ah battery. The motor still turns over slow. 1 Answer. SOURCE: I was riding my polaris sportsman 800 and it lost all power. We found the problem. The wire that is shorting out is on the right side down by the front axle shaft by the gearcase.
