AFM delete with a new cam and lifters is the gold standard as far as I’m concerned. Devices like the Range won’t save your AFM lifters and won’t prevent torque converter shudder.

The AFM disabler on its own isn't worth it in my opinion. Disabling the AFM is a feature on many tuners, so you might as well get a tune for a couple hundred more.
