Two breeds were straight run and we culled 3 unwanted roosters from those. We have 14 birds: 12 pullets and 2 roosters, and all are laying. We wanted to try meat chickens this fall, so we ordered 12: six White Mountain Broiler, and six Super Roaster. These butchered out as very meaty 7.5 week old birds and so far, all have tasted delicious.
