Ark difficulty offset.

Hi Guys, We are playing on an unofficial server with max wild dino level of 120. We tried the bosses to get the tek tier and we failed. Now many players suggest to up the dino level to 150 (like the official servers). But I am not even sure if that would makes a difference. Does the boss gets harder too if we scale the difficulty value?Dec 16, 2017 · Pretty sure the Island was adjusted so that difficulty offset 1 is equal to diff 5 now too. That's a weird Difficulty Offset, it's not even the usual line for setting difficulty. It shouldn't be higher than 1. The offset is a range from 0.1 to 1. With 1 being the maximum, setting it higher would reset it to 1 each time you start up. If you want to change the difficulty value the offset effects you do it like so: Difficulty=1

I have tried changing the difficulty offset which did nothing. I don't think Difficulty Offset matters here. OverrideOfficialDifficulty=5.000000 will get you level 150 dinos on the island.
