r/Polaroid • This is my polaroid, and I was wondering how I can take pictures in the night without my entire photo being dark. I was in Bryant park and I took a picture of the Empire State Building but it ended up looking like this.It is a disappointing response, but as I said, I did notice Gen 2 read 1/3 stop darker than my Gen 1 in bright light and I noticed a difference in Tripod Mode (23 Seconds vs 60 minutes on Gen 1 for the same scene). I am going to run more tests of the Tripod Mode to test it further.I've started with an Impulse AF and recently got a OneStep+, and I'd say no, not really, there isn't a meaningful difference in sharpness. You don't need an expensive scanner, I'm using a Canon Lide 220, I've been using it for years and it produces good scans. Yup. I was using an old USB Epson Perfection 1250 from ~2003 @ 1200 DPI up until a few years ago. Fuji's films have good stability but unfortunately Polaroid still has long way to go. Even hold the camera for like 20 mins will make the last photo which is the closest one to your hand get pink LOL. Put unopened films into your fridge, and take them out when you're about to take photos.
