A max sized turbine of 17x18x17 with 14 layers of rotors (28 blades) can handle 11,040,000 mB/t of steam. Yeah I always go Mekanism because it scales well with basic crafting recipes, extreme reactors need like 4 or 5 multi blocks, a couple reactors to make the actual ingredients for the optimal reactor, and then a whole fleet of multiblock turbines just to make the equivalent of 2 fusion reactors, which occupy maybe 4 or 5 chunks each if all component parts are laid out next to each other

But you can hook up more than one reactor to a turbine. * Exceptions apply, such as building a bigger reactor and keeping the small one running for the time - or adjusting the injection rate by enabling different reactors. But those are exceptions.
