Is archer or uworld better.
The first time i took my nclex was in Feb. Utilized Mark K and Archer. Unfortunately i failed :( This time, i watched nursing crusade - which really helped me with test taking strategies. Listening again to Mark K- it is helping me so much to be honest. This time, i am using Uworld- and i can honestly say, Uworld is way better- content wise.

There are a lot of supplemental study resources for the MBE portion of the bar exam these days. However, two MBE prep courses top the list: UWorld’s MBE QBank and Adaptibar’s MBE Simulator. Although similarities exist between the offerings, there is a reason why UWorld MBE QBank has outperformed in popularity in recent years.
UWorld vs Archer. I’m doing significantly better in Uworld compared to Archer, which I’m averaging about half correct questions and half incorrect questions in. Doing 100 questions in Uworld is just so much more attainable than 100 in Archer. Although I overall like Uworld more for its rationales, I also like the unlimited RAs in Archer.UWorld and only UWorld! NCLEX questions are very similar to the ones on UWorld, but easier. While Archer and UWorld are good in some specific areas, Nurse Plus Academy seems to excel overall.However, if comprehensive explanations with ample visuals are essential, UWorld might be a stronger option. With regard to uworld, it gives many many clues in question and lengthy Qs. I failed before with it. Nothing from that expensive uworld ever showed on my exam.From exam perspective, I think Archer review is very good, the qs are vague and this is how the Qs were on my nclex first attempt. They do not give the qs like in uworld. Nclex is more like Archer with short question stems and not too much detail in the stem. The actual nclex is nothing like uworld questions. I hate uworld with a passion. I had a 58% with their qbank (hold on to that thought.) The second time i did archer and Nclex high yield for prep. Archer questions are extremely similar to the real thing. I did way better on archer questions than uworld. I failed at 145.Kaplan is better than uworld. I tried the free trial in Kaplan before and they’re also similar to nclex, I didn’t purchase it though bc it was expensive so I used archer review instead. NCSBN learning ext. is the most similar to NCLEX of course, 2nd is archer, 3rd kaplan imo. 3.

There are regular sales and discounts on both sites. However, price shouldn’t be the deciding factor, as both services offer different coursework.
Everyone has a different style however I’ve always been a horrible test taker. First time around I solely used Mark K lectures (would recommend, very helpful tips/mnemonics), and archer. REX-PN, Uworld and Nurseachieve. I'm a new grad in BC and taking the REX-PN next week. I tried uworld, and found it was really helpful but got through all the questions too quickly. Then recently I've tried Nurseachieve, with the adaptive CAT test. I got a pass, but I feel like there's a ton of information and material I wasn't prepared for.I think uworld is very good for content and SATA but their question bank doesn't hit every area that could show up on test. Like stated above, maybe in time archer will get better but it’s not great, hence how they can give it away for free/ sell it so cheap. Nobody would pay for the quality that it is currently.
