When you use the command, the dino is awake but the torpor remains the same, which leads to some issues. My yuty started eating food like crazy. I tried to keep him fed but he starved multiple times. You can't cryopod unconscious dinos either, so I couldn't bring him home.

As some Dinosaurs can take a while to tame, it is recommended to do something else and occasionally check it to give it more Narcos, provided you do not leave it so long it wakes up.
