A real 3DS is the best way to experience 3DS games IMO since emulating means sacrificing the intended form factor and 3D support, but a Steam Deck will run most games well, and some games like Monster Hunter are more comfortable to play in HD with a "full" controller and dual stick camera control. I like having the seperation so that the ssd doesn't get filled with my emulators and roms and I can just use ssd for normal pc games.
