There was one minor hiccup however. When the magazine is emptied, the slide release will not work with the empty magazine in the pistol.

Went with the Micro 9. My buddy has the P938, likes it as well. The Sig has an external extractor and two-piece guide rod, but otherwise they are the same gun other than aesthetics. Additionally the Kimber magazines have visible weld marks while the P938 magazines do not. The bottom of the Sig magazines also have a nice engraved branding. All three I had feed and functioned just fine and locked the slide back everytime. I used hertiers 115gr 9mm FMJ. When I get some hollow points for this gun I will give that a try with the 8 round magazines.
