I was just gifted this Iver Johnson Safety Automatic Revolver ( I believe that is the model ) and I was looking for more information on it. I would like to know the manufacture date & if this is designed for black powder or modern ammunition? Serial date on the trigger guard reads 6839 and matches the serial number under the grip.
