Now you can move between planets the "normal" way by hopping in a space ship and flying there but that spans multiple light years of distance and most of the cosmere is just figuring out planes not faster than light travel. But everywhere in the cosmere there are the 3 realms. The physical where most of the books focus on.

Happy reading! I've read the entire Cosmere, and my personal belief is that the only thing that truly matters is reading Warbreaker before Stormlight Archives.
P.S. The Cosmere fandom are legit my favorite online crowd - if you ever have questions, the reddit sub or 17th shard forums are welcoming and always theorycrafting about the various storylines playing out in universe. Hell, Brandon Sanderson himself visits the forums, and actually engages with his fans and their theorycrafting...

From one who is very cosmere aware and have knowledge of Words of Brandon, you might think “Autonomy”. If you only read the two major/popular works of Brandon’s cosmere, you might think “Odium”. The invading shardworlds and corrupting parts of the system. The colors of red and gold with immortal beings as pawns.
