No doubt nice M24, M27, M28, M28/30, M39, and late date M39s will regularly sell above 1K soon (or maybe they already command that price). Makes it hard for newbies to get in the hobby.
Personally, 7n6 is some of the most corrosive ammo I've ever encountered. In the summer humidity, fire off a couple 30 rd. mags, and everything starts corroding within a hour or 2. I've heard they cost around 2000 dollars, but if you can find some all matching rifles and I've heard of people getting 5-10 hex receivers in the mix, you could sell like 15 of them and make your money back, and get 5 rifles out of the deal.
