First off it took weeks to get as they were waiting or their new, must have billet throttle tubes. Finally got the carb, looked awesome, install was very easy. It fit better than the OEM carb and we wont even compare fit to an FCR.Yes, the last one posted looks to be a aftermarket 2nd gen MX with removable intake bell. The adapter looks correct. You'll also need the Keihin airbox adapter screws (021-012) and the gasket (021-439) to mount it to the carb. Posted April 10, 2009. the drz is the easiest modern 4 stroke to remove the carb from. really,not kidding. I'm not trying to dispute anything you're saying. I agree it takes 10 minutes or less to pull the carb on the DRZ. It probably takes an extra minute for me to pivot the subframe. I'm not saying it's necessary.You only need to remove 6 bolts. 2 seat , 2 tank and the 2 shrouds bolts going into the radiators. Pull the tank with the shrouds attached. Now that I think about it, I guess technically there are 8 and a set screw.
