This whole area seems big and provides good space to build a base. And you can keep the essentials here along with your creatures.My PvE base is in F9, north-west of the Demon Spider Vault. There is a decent sized ledge on the cliff face with a narrow access point between the cliff and a tall rock pillar that make it VERY easy to defend from a Purge. You're close to lots of resources (such as brimstone and silver) and Sepermeru is just round the corner. Head north and you're quickly in the green. It's a cave in the tundra biome or region and that already makes it an appealing spot for a base. I’ve also had some hidden bases down on by the obsidian forges since it’s very hot and usually darker than the other spots.And monsters, making it unlikely that they will survive.
