Side note - I am also part of the "No heat on the driver side" club, as many are. I flush it occasionally to solve the problem temporarily. Engine warms. Your heater core is clogged. You can fix it. Disconnect the two heater hoses and put one into a bucket. Use an air compressor to blow into the other - it'll flush the contents into the bucket. Then reverse it - put the hose you blew into, in the bucket, and blow into the one that was in the bucket.

I dont know a lot about this subject, but I can take a few guesses. 1. There may be something in the Nitro's computers that controls the blend of hot and cold air. If this is the case, try disconnecting your battery (neg (-) side) for 10 minutes and see if that helps. 2.
